Who We Are
We are a family run business set up in February 2011. Our aim was to provide services for Assembling, Repairing and and Manufacturing Metal Material Handling Products and Structures in the North East.
Through our contacts within the industry, we were able to set up a team of employees with knowledge and experience to begin to provide assembly and Repair and Maintenance services to our customers. We also wanted to offer manufacturing of material handling products to our customers and through our in-house design services.
As part of these services we started offering storage facilities to our customers for their products and equipment and when looking into ways we could offer additional support and save costs for our customers in 2017 we added HGVs to our vehicle fleet to be able to offer distribution services, creating J Mitchinson Haulage.
In 2018 we set up Powder Coating and Shot Blasting services and later adding our Large Capacity Wet Paint Body Shop, trading as COAT-IT.
